What is Borderlands 2 DLC?

In the world ofgaming, DLC term is used to refer to additional stuff for already released game. DLC refers to Downloadable Content which is distributed by the makers to the players via the internet. Before adding pack to your game, you need to make certain things clear. The campaign difficulty of the BL2 DLC will depend on your level in the game and the mode you are playing. The game can be played in two modes – Normal mode, TVHM Mode or the True Vault Hunter Mode.

In the normal mode, the campaign difficulty level will vary at different level stages and will remain the same for a definite range. the level will change in a different range. The ranges are 15-30, 30-35 and 30-38. This would also depend on which story you are looking at. In the TVHM mode, the enemies in one of the packs can scale up to as much as 50 levels.

It is important to keep a tab on the fact that once you start DLC at a particular level it would remain at that level forever. Hence, it is best to think twice before adding a DLC to begin with. The makers have also included the level requirements to the DLC to ensure that you stay in sync with the main story and know all that is happening in the primary storyline. However, it is highly recommended that you complete the main storyline first before including the DLCs.
