Sands of Inaros is one of the major Warframe quests a player encountered back in 2016. This unique quest was introduced alongside a substantial amount of lore. As Inaros still remains relevant and is one of the newbie-friendly warframes, getting it would be a great idea. In this guide, we have explained the steps, mechanics, and unlocks in a simple way. All you need to do is read this guide and you will be good to go.
How to get to the Sands of Inaros Quest?
The first step in completing this quest is to actually unlock it in the first place. This can be done by purchasing the blueprint for the quest from the Void Trader, Baro Ki’Teer. However, you must remember that he is available once every two weeks.
While the Void Trader’s Inventory is randomized, the good news is that Sands of Inaros is a permanent part of his inventory. At worst, you may have to wait until the next time he comes around. You can do so by consulting the unofficial Void Trader tracker.
For purchasing the Blueprint, you will need
- 100 Ducats
- 25,000 Credits
Once you have received the Blueprint, you will need the following resources to craft it.
- 5,000 credits
- 400 Oxium
- 5,000 Nano Spores
- 1 Nitain Extract
The players need to remember that the items won’t craft immediately. You can wait for 6 hours for the production process to finish and then upon claiming the item from the Foundry, you will receive a World State Window update that will invite you to explore a special tomb on mars.
How to get the sands of Inaros Blueprint?
The first part of the quest is quite simple – the tomb. You need to complete the mission to be rewarded with the blueprint. This still implies that you need to get the Systems, Chassis, and Neuroptics Blueprints which will require you to invest a significant amount of time.
You will be given a special vessel that will ask you to kill a particular kind of enemy to receive other Inaros Blueprints. Depending on the picture you get on your vessel, you will have to kill 60 of a particular kind of enemy. You also need to find the exact vessel requirements and enemy spawn locations.
|First Vessel Challenge||Second Vessel Challenge||Third Vessel Challenge|
|Kill 60 Corpus Detron Crewmen||Kill 20 corpus railgun MOAs||Kill 5 corpus denial bursas|
|Kill 60 Grineer Seekers||Kill 20 Hyekka Masters||Kill 5 Grineer Manics|
|Kill 60 infested volatile runners||Kill 20 infested brood Mothers||Kill 5 infested Juggernauts|
• The Vessel’s challenge: Part 1
Baro is looking for valuable relics left behind in a hidden tomb on a forsaken rock called Phobos. This is a level 20-25 mission that starts when you arrive at a temple where Baro will assign you the task. For finding the Sacred Vessel, you need to go to the end of the temple until you come across a large jar that lies at the feet of a shrine. Baro would then ask you to return the vessel for further examination. With this, your first mini-mission would be complete.
You will have to equip the vessel in your gear inventory and fulfill the vessel inscription. You need to kill 60 enemies and go back to the temple and place the Sacred Vessel near the door. Here you will find the second vessel.
As you pick the Vessel, you will hear a voice speak about Inaros the Golden Skymen. As you are about to return on your mission a large pack of Feral Kavats will attack you. You need to kill them all to complete the mission. This challenge reward will be the protector helmet blueprint.
• The Vessel’s challenge: Part 2
Baro will ask you to complete another challenge and then return to the tomb. Like the previous challenge, you need to take the Sacred Vessel and then you need to kill 20 enemies as per the glyph. Once the challenge is complete, Baro will ask you to go back and return the vessel. You need to repeat the same motive and find the door to place the vessel. This will lead you to the third vessel. A feminine voice will then brief the story to you.
At the shrine, you will come across a massive Tomb Guardian and after killing him, he will keep coming back in smaller versions. You need to kill all the versions until it has been completely destroyed.
• The Vessel’s challenge: Part 3
Baro will ask you to complete the third challenge and once again it would be to destroy the enemies shown on the glyph. You need to go back to the temple and place the vessel by the door and collect the last vessel. You need to fight the tomb protector. You might also fight one of the statues in the room which has been brought to life. Once you kill a statue, the Tomb Protector will fight you. You need to kill all the four statues to defeat the tomb Protector. Upon completing the quest, you will finally be rewarded with the final component you need for Inaros Warframe which is the Protector Systems Blueprint.
